Engine management light and coil light came on, had my guy stick a diagnostic tool on it and it said the DPF was blocked. Booked a full 400 quids' worth of carbon clean and DPF clean. Matt diagnosed the problem as a sensor issue which would need a new sensor fitting. I could have got away with just the £90 callout fee but decided to go for full carbon clean at total cost of £210. I appreciate Matt's honesty and not trying to rinse me for a DPF clean. Would definitely use again.

I made the mistake of using a “mechanic” from click mechanic last week…. He didn’t even pop the hood and then proceeded to say that he’s sorted the problem and then told me that I would need to replace the EGR… and it was a lie… The gentleman who came today not only diagnosed that the dps was blocked… he spent an hour cleaning it properly…. He also said that there was no problem with the EDR!! He also diagnosed an issue with the dps vaporiser(which I will get sorted asap) My mechanic today was bang on time, highly professional and talked me through everything.

I had my car in on a recall. Got a phone call to say that after they put a new ECU in it was dead. UKCC came out to me, mapped the AdBlue out and the car started fine and runs with no issues… I even got an extra 50mph out of it! And it was so reasonably priced! 5⭐️
I engaged UKCC to perform an assessment of an issue the garage wanted £3500 to resolve. UKCC quickly identified the problem as being a faulty pressure sensor. The cost of the replacement sensor and UKCC's initial charge of £90 was £400. A massive saving. Matt from UKCC was courteous, he kept me informed throughout and above all was honest. I highly recommend UKCC for these very reasons. I will use them again when needed.

Christian visited me for a DPF clean on a van with an engine management light on. The engine was carbon cleaned and also DPF. He diagnosed a faulty sensor which was the reason the dpf had clogged. He is very knowledgeable and professional in his approach. After the fitting of a new sensor by a local garage I then experienced an issue as the sensor hadn't been commissioned onto the ecu, it was a Friday evening and the garage was closed, but Christian came back out to reset the system and get the van back on the road, a true professional and an overall top man ... thank you
Outstanding service car feels like new? I had a egr delete and a map. Christian was very professional zero issues top lad to be fair. The car has never felt like this and I have gained about 8/10 mpg on a 3ltr twin turbo so I’m now getting 45ish mpg at normal driving. A nice smooth map too overall 10/10

I had an issue with my car , loosing power, check engine light on , traction control light on and many other warning lights. I went to Mazda dealer and informed me that exhaust pipe is completely blocked. and it's gonna cost me 1280 ???? to change it. I called UKCC AUTO TECHS and spoke with their technician named MATT. he did the inspection and he gave me the solution. and it was 60 pounds ???? exhaust pressure sensor. and the car returned to normal situation. All warning lights went off. save me 1280 pound. DON'T TRUST MAZDA DEALER.

We went for the forced dpf regen, which was the cheapest and most effective option. The fix took less than an hour and avoided the far more expensive and lengthy options of using chemicals or removing the dpf. Our family car now runs like new! I've contacted Matt from UKCC after my car, Audi 2.0tdi ultra has started throwing P2002 fault code. Matt has come to my home address and he talk me through all steps to resolve this issue. He has completed 3 stage carbon clean, did EGR cooler adjustments and remapped the engine for better efficiency and performance. I did feel the noticeable improvement straight away, way better acceleration, less vibration, much smoother and most importantly no more error codes on the dash. Had a fault on my Nissan Juke which Nissan told me was probably going to be 8 new injectors at £500 each, another garage suggested I get them cleaned so I called Cristian. He was amazing from start to finish. He said it was unlikely the injectors and continued to run tests on my car for about an hour. He suggested we try a new sensor which we ordered on Sunday, it arrived today (Tuesday) we fitted it and it solved the problem. 4 independent garages and Nissan couldn’t diagnose the problem and Cristian took the time to help us. Cristian arrived on time and promptly diagnosed the primary fault with the car (failed DPF pressure sensor); he then completed the carbon cleaning as requested, and explained the process as we went. He was very helpful and polite; worked quickly and efficiently. He came back the following day to help fit and check a replacement sensor which I had purchased after the first service. He went above and beyond to help and ensure the best possible outcome. Service like this is rare and needs applauding when it is done well.

Had redha sarhani come today to do a stage 3 carbon clean on my m140i, the process was excellent, along with his professionalism. He had phoned before coming also informed me about him running late due to the snow which wasnt a problem for me anyway. He explained what the chemicals did and how my car would react to them and I must say the test drive after he completed it was amazing, I am over the moon with the outcome, car feels brandnew and the fuel consumption is a lot lower. Ive found that I was missing power because upon applying throttle it pulls me into my seat which I have never felt, 10/10 for this guy. Christian had good communication on arranging the appointment and gave clear description of work being carried out. After work completed another fault was found but Christian was quick to revisit and has shown me proof on diagnostic machine that the readings are now correct of the DPF pressures. Red called various car part stores to find me the best price and then went the extra mile for me by collecting the part for me. He could of easily told me wrong Information but he was honest. Getting P2002 on my RAV with permanent limp mode. Cristian came out same day, making time for me between other calls. I've had issues with my car since March this year. The car kept on going into limp mode and was told by main dealer that it needed a new cat convertor, had that replaced but it was still going into limp mode, than told it was the rail pressure sensor, so changed that, the car immediately went back into limp mode, was then told I would need the fuel injectors replacing....I had enough so did more research and found UKCC Auto Techs. Technician came to my home, ran the cleaning process....I noticed immediately how great my engine sounded, took for a spin, now my car is running beautifully.

Jason knows his stuff and after being informed by a local VW dealer that our Touareg was not worth repairing (it’s 11 years old) as it would be close to £5000 of work required to get the engine operating correctly again Jason worked his magic - he explained everything, was attentive to every aspect and even waited for me to test the vehicle on a 20 minute test drive. The Touareg felt like it had with just a few thousand miles on the clock. 4 months on it shows no signs of any issues with the DPF or other aspects of the engine concerns.
Had the pleasure of dealing with Matt and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Had some issues with an EGR valve and he was able to give a solution to this and fixed the issue. Had an issue where the valve needed to be unplugged, but Matt was very patient and attentive in dealing with me and arranged for the car to be taken to a local mechanic to unplug the valve for me. He made sure I felt looked after and 3 months later, the car is working brilliantly and with better fuel economy on the motorway.

My Citroen Relay alerted me of a blocked DPF and subsequently gone into limp mode leaving me van less. I contacted UKCC Auto tech and arranged a mobile visit from Jason within a day or so. Jason cleared the fault, cleaned the filter and provided a wealth of information to explain the reasons behind the problem. At the time of the visit I took advantage of Jason's suggestion and allowed him to carry out re-mapping. So pleased with the result. The van is on a different level completely now and is an absolute pleasure to drive, no more sluggish overtaking or risky pull-outs onto roundabouts. Excellent!

I had been having issues and even though I am technically savvy my Audi had 160k miles on so thought I would get it fully cleaned including DPF. They did a full diagnostic and although it was not their job, found an underlying issue that could be overcome which meant that I did not need the DPF clean. Very honest and professional! After the engine clean the car is back to being powerful and picks up without any lag. Thanks

27 May 2021. Matt Wallace came and remapped my Bmw M Sport Shadow. Spent hours here, but it didn't work, car wouldn't start and had loads of permanent errors through no fault of Matts, or anyone else's. ECU was on the way out anyway I've now been informed by a Bmw mechanic friend of mine. 5 June 2021. After keeping me informed over the weekend and through the week, even messaging me at 23:30 at one point to give a progress update, Matt Wallace came back with a replacement ECU, as the old one was destroyed for some reason. Connected it, checked it for faults, started the car and I drove it off. 136-184 Bhp. Works like a dream and Matt kept his word and rectified the problem, whatever it was. I sent an email enquiring whether carbon cleaning would be appropriate for my car late in the evening and received a call back at 0900 the following day. After discussion, I booked an appointment for 1100 that morning. Cristian arrived on time and was friendly and professional. He explained the process, and the job was completed in 45 mins. I was concerned that I was going to have a large workshop bill to solve the issue of excessive carbon in my engine, but this 3 stage process has cleared my error code and got the car running smoothly again. Had a bit of a weather problem on the day that my car was booked for the full monty map and clean . Had my engine clean and map the following day . The service was good they came to me , Custom map and clean in around an hour and half . Car took the map well . Was told by another company that it would be necessary to remove the ECU and program it on the bench . This guy has all the latest software and was able to do everything through the OBD port . Extremely happy with the service.

I had great results from the stage 3 Engine Carbon clean. Matt came to my work place, was professional and knowledgable. I have a Audi A6 2.0 TDI, 160,000 miles. The clean took about an hour. I was very impressed on the drive home from work (about 7 miles) my MPG jumped from the usual 34 to 42 MPG. It was running so cool the temperature gauge barely moved. Normally sits about quarter way up the gauge on that run. Will be calling Matt again next year for sure.

This professional service made a massive difference to the performance of my vehicle. I have a 2.0 tdci Ford from 2008, and went for the 3 way EGR and turbo, Injectors and Hydrogen clean. After the car was treated I was doing wheel spins all over the place in all gears. It took me the best part of a day to readjust how much less throttle I needed to apply. Mpg up from 32 in city to 36 in city. The engine is smoother as well. The best part is it seems to have fixed the issue I had with raw desiel clouds be ejected from my exhaust.
Absolutely thrilled with the work carried out by Reda, his work is exceptional everything mentioned on the call was carried out. I originally booked Reda for a DPF clean but because of his knowledge and how open and honest he was I ended up getting a quids in package for a stage 1 remap and DPF clean. I have to say since the work has been carried out the car drives amazing so responsive and yes I'm very happy with the work and knowledge Reda showcased on the day.

An excellent outcome, saved a mint - HC’s were MOT failure level - unheard of. Fault codes now all gone, CATs clean, injectors clean, was quiet anyway, and engine now beyond what I knew possible! Stick to shell v- power, and at least be wary of plant based fuel issues/cheap fuel!

Matt Wallace came to my house on Thursday 28th May to remap my 2017 bmw 118i m sport shadow edition. Through no fault of his or mine, the car wouldn't start and had loads of permanent errors. Matt was here a good few hours trying to rectify the problem but to no avail. It turns out the ECU was destroyed. Matt kept in contact with me through out the week, even messaging me at 23:30 for a progress update. He acquired a new ECU, put it in the car today, 5 June 2021 and now its back to normal, with the new map, and 186BHP. I was sceptical but hes a man of his word and came back to rectify problem.

Matt was very communicative on the phone and explained whist not promising it would fix the cylinder miss fire on my Seat Ibiza 1.8 20v Turbo. He recommended the stage three clean and we booked and made the appointment. Matt called me on the day confirming he was in his way and arrived on time. He explained he had done some research and recommended a cheaper stage 2 clean. With this done I drove home and have run the car a few times over the Christmas break clearing the error codes and am very happy that now with some miles done allowing the process to continue no miss fires or error’s

Tony arrived at the time we agreed on. Very polite and funny. He looked at what we thought was the issue to be told that it’s not what we thought and doesn’t need to be cleaned out just a new sensor. Which he advised me what to get as he doesn’t supply sensors. But was very knowledgable on what was needed.

Ciaran provided an excellent service, not trying to oversell, just gives what the car needs: I ha an engine decoke and also a remap to remove swirl flaps that so often cause issues. The map has not only removed the swirl flap issue but the car is more responsive and feels lively; I really feel the combination of the works has made a big difference. I would definitely recommend
I was very hesitant in the beginning, that is also why I left leaving a review for nearly 2 months. The car had a warning relating to the EGR valve (diagnosed by a garage on my service). I contacted this company after seeing the reviews. The engineer turned up, nice guy, explained everything that he was doing, and why he was doing it (educating me as I was not as familiar). The warning light was still on after the work which was an issue, although he mentioned this just needed resetting. Since then, no warning light and the car is running perfectly. Saved me a lot of money, Thanks!

Before the engine clean my 2009 2.0 jaguar X-Type diesel suffered from heavy greyish smoke under acceleration With an occasional flat spot. Not any more. MPG And throttle response also improved. I highly recommend this company/engineer and the service.

Originally called out for DPF clean and remap, he checked my car and informed me that my DPF was actually absolutely fine and so no need to clean it. This saved me a large amount of money and I was very grateful for his honesty. A job like this somebody could easily continue the works and cash in. Very honest man. He proceeded to check the health of the car etc before remapping the vehicle. This was done very efficiently and only took about 45 mins or so, and it has given my car a very noticeable power increase. Thanks very much for your work. Much appreciated

If you want your car to run as a brand new one carbon cleaning are more than capable to do this. I had DPF problems and the car was not running properly. A lot of smoke and turbo issues. After I had the carbon clean the DPF regen light has not came on any more the car has better mpg less smoke and better drive. Highly recommended. Thumbs up for Cristian!

I called up Winston and asked if I could have a diagnostic check on my vauxhall astra as it felt a bit sluggish, as he checked it using the diagnostic machine there was a faulty camshaft sensor, Winston advised me where to go and what part to get so I got the part and Winston fitted it for me, really nice bloke and a great laugh. I had been having issues with my DPF for a while and was considering getting a new one fitted, sadly this was way out of my budget, so I found Carbon Clean on a Google search. When I called them, they could not have been more helpful and friendly, booking the engineer was easy and Tony arrived at the agreed time. As with my initial contact, he was also very helpful, friendly and professional. Every part of the job was explained to me before he started and when he did, his work was clean and tidy. Great service came to my house plugged my car in and read fault codes, then did a carbon clean which the guy left on for longer then needed to ensure a good clean. My car has alot more power and has cleared engine management fault on my turbo causing limp mode. Vincent even came back out 2 days later and 're plugged my motor in to read fault codes and all clear and no extra was charged for this visit. Great service all round well recommended.
Matt was brilliant from the get go. I had taken my car to a traditional garage and they didn't have a clue how to deal with the problem. Once the fault was fully diagnosed, Matt was confident my car could be fixed in a few hours and that proved to be the case. He answered all of my questions about how to stop the DPF from clogging up again and his service was brilliant. This fault needs specialist help and Matt and his team are the ones to fix your car. I was impressed by the reviews and decided to get my engine cleaned. The process was easy and quick. The results were amazing. It was previously lumpy at low revs, swift but not really fast at 95000 miles. After the clean it has far more torque, is very smooth and goes like it was supposed to! I'm not sure about mpg yet as it's such a lot of fun that the MPG may have suffered! I'm sure that with the better torque it will be more economical. This process appears so simple that until you've had it done you wonder if it really will work. Well it does work really well. Very pleased.

I’ve had this done to my vehicle before and was very pleased with the outcome, it’s been about 2 years since I had it done and since It’s got a bit colder my car has felt a bit sluggish when cold so thought I’d get it done again and immediately felt the difference as soon as I pulled off the drive. I recommend that anyone thinking of getting this done to give it a go, you will not be disappointed with the results. Quieter engine, more responsive no longer struggling to start. Tony carried out the work to a very high standard, his time and professionalism was superb. I was informed prior to the work starting of all the faults on the car and the reasons behind them. I was informed about the faulty sensor I needed to replace and the cost before work was carried out. During the work I was sent regular updates and photos of the process and explained to what was happening. Once finished I was shown all the work carried out and the new readings of pressures and that no fault codes were now flagged up by the car. I had a DPF light up on my car which he diagnosed and told me the DPF was actually fine but it was the egr valve that was the problem, he told me the cleanse of the engine would have a very good chance of resolving the problem. DPF issue on a Audi A5 (2008) for the past 12 months. Attempts to resolve the issue using other agents had all failed. Was quoted £2000 by Audi for a new DPF filter and labour over the phone. After all the headache in just a few hours Matt from UK Carbon Cleaning was able to diagnose the issue, give advice on what was causing the DPF to not operate efficiently (faulty glow plugs and sensor), source the replacement part (DPF sensor), fit the new sensor and decarbonizes the engine. The work was carried out for less than the estimate and I couldn't be happier with the end result. Thank.

Had work carried out by Yasir. The guy knows his stuff and talked me through exactly what he will be doing and why he will be doing it. Did his diagnostic, advised the DPF sensor is faulty and needs replacing. Then advised a engine clean which will give better performance in terms of engine smoothness and MPG. Unfortunately it was hard work locating a DPF sensor for my car as it's a rare model of the Toyota Auris T180 D-CAT, local auto shops don't stock them. Managed to find the part from a Toyota Specialist and Yasir installed it. Excellent service all round.

Work was excellent. Power and smoothness has improved. While difficult to evaluate due to stop start city driving the fuel economy improvement claim of 10 percent appears valid in my case.
Matt delivered exactly what we spoke about over the phone. He arrived on time, was knowledgeable and informative. I followed Matt's prior advice and got the car warmed up before he arrived. I then left him to it and before I knew it he was done. Having taken the car out in the afternoon I can confirm it was back to its self and the cleaning delivered some punch in the Alfa again.
My wife's Ford S-Smax has done 151,000 miles a lot of which has been towing. It has been getting decidedly more thirsty, rattly and smokey over the last year or so. I have umm'd and arggh'd as to whether the carbon cleaning process was any good or not or just a fad but made one evening made a rash decision and booked it. The process took about an hour and Matt ran a diagnostic on the car before starting the treatment. The effect is dramatic. Easier to start, quieter on tickover, turbo-lag much reduced and significantly less smokey. MPG has been much improved too. Well worth the money!

Car Had over 95000 miles and was becoming sluggish and I was getting less Mpg. Since having the carbon removed the car takes off like a rocket and through out the acceleration it feels so much smoother. Job was so good I had the other car done as well

Just had Matt out to carry out a Carbon Clean stage1 on my Audi A4 2006 2.0TFSI. I thought I could do with a CCstage1 due to the car being 12 years old, the engine was running okay but I could feel in the steering wheel and gear stick leaver slight hesitation, it just didn’t feel right to me (as I’m a technician at Audi) I also had smoke coming from the exhaust. After the CCstage1 I could no longer feel engine vibration, felt very smooth and was running how it should. Carried out a quick road test after which cleared up the smoke from the exhaust. Matt came and spent a long time trying to cure my little cars issues. After the work the engine light stayed off for longer than before and the car is definitely running a lot better for having the pipes and the rest of it cleaned out but alas the light returned, there must be an actual physical fault with my valve. Matt did return to try again with a different chemical but unfortunately the issue wasn't resolved, cannot fault the service though and it was good to meet someone with great knowledge and enthusiasm for the job they do. Would recommend.

Matt sounded like a decent guy but I can't recommend him Due to the messing about I was subjected to.Booked the service, 2 hours prior he called to change times, than again and again and again. The excuse was that I booked very late.. Well, not really my problem as I booked on their website according to the time slots I was given. I had to schedule my workload around this and wasted whole day waiting for him. Overall- not happy! This is obviously a time keeping feedback- no idea what his work is like. He offers another day booking and £10 discount... not sure what else to say.
Such a great job!! The car now drives as if it's new my bmw has 125,000 miles on the clock but since the carbon clean I feel like it's got so much more power and the engines more quiet. Very polite and friendly; job was done quick!!! I recommend it to everybody looking to keep there car healthy.
Had my Honda accord 3 stage cleaned. It is a very high mileage car but since matt did the work on it feels like a new car. Throttle response is amazing now a few mm on throttle makes it start to pull. He even helped me diagnose a mechanical issue with my car which he didn't have to do and turned out I need to get a fuel injector resealed. I've already recommended the service to a work colleague who had never heard of carbon cleaning. The results are amazing and it's money well spent.

Matt was so knowledgeable about the issues I had with my Audi A6, and with the carbon cleaning process. Upon first investigation, lots of back smoke was coming from the exhaust pipes, and the engine was not accelerating smoothly and sounded like a tractor! Within 30 mins the clean was complete, and I just can not believe the difference. Before even driving it, the engine was so much quieter and no black smoke coming from the exhaust. Then the drive....it feels like a new car. More refined, more power - and the hesitation upon acceleration gone. Fantastic job Matt, thank you.

Engine management light and coil light came on, had my guy stick a diagnostic tool on it and it said the DPF was blocked. Booked a full 400 quids' worth of carbon clean and DPF clean. Matt diagnosed the problem as a sensor issue which would need a new sensor fitting. I could have got away with just the £90 callout fee but decided to go for full carbon clean at total cost of £210. I appreciate Matt's honesty and not trying to rinse me for a DPF clean. Would definitely use again.

I made the mistake of using a “mechanic” from click mechanic last week…. He didn’t even pop the hood and then proceeded to say that he’s sorted the problem and then told me that I would need to replace the EGR… and it was a lie… The gentleman who came today not only diagnosed that the dps was blocked… he spent an hour cleaning it properly…. He also said that there was no problem with the EDR!! He also diagnosed an issue with the dps vaporiser(which I will get sorted asap) My mechanic today was bang on time, highly professional and talked me through everything.

I engaged UKCC to perform an assessment of an issue the garage wanted £3500 to resolve. UKCC quickly identified the problem as being a faulty pressure sensor. The cost of the replacement sensor and UKCC's initial charge of £90 was £400. A massive saving. Matt from UKCC was courteous, he kept me informed throughout and above all was honest. I highly recommend UKCC for these very reasons. I will use them again when needed.
Christian visited me for a DPF clean on a van with an engine management light on. The engine was carbon cleaned and also DPF. He diagnosed a faulty sensor which was the reason the dpf had clogged. He is very knowledgeable and professional in his approach. After the fitting of a new sensor by a local garage I then experienced an issue as the sensor hadn't been commissioned onto the ecu, it was a Friday evening and the garage was closed, but Christian came back out to reset the system and get the van back on the road, a true professional and an overall top man ... thank you

Had a fault on my Nissan Juke which Nissan told me was probably going to be 8 new injectors at £500 each, another garage suggested I get them cleaned so I called Cristian. He was amazing from start to finish. He said it was unlikely the injectors and continued to run tests on my car for about an hour. He suggested we try a new sensor which we ordered on Sunday, it arrived today (Tuesday) we fitted it and it solved the problem. 4 independent garages and Nissan couldn’t diagnose the problem and Cristian took the time to help us. Cristian arrived on time and promptly diagnosed the primary fault with the car (failed DPF pressure sensor); he then completed the carbon cleaning as requested, and explained the process as we went. He was very helpful and polite; worked quickly and efficiently. He came back the following day to help fit and check a replacement sensor which I had purchased after the first service. He went above and beyond to help and ensure the best possible outcome. Service like this is rare and needs applauding when it is done well.
Called Matt on Monday as my mercedes kept going in limp mode had two other mechanics look at this and just kept going back into limp mode. Matt sorted me an appointment for Wednesday in Croydon and explained everything that he was gonna do and sounded very professional and polite after car was done he went through everything he had carried out again. Christian had good communication on arranging the appointment and gave clear description of work being carried out. After work completed another fault was found but Christian was quick to revisit and has shown me proof on diagnostic machine that the readings are now correct of the DPF pressures. Getting P2002 on my RAV with permanent limp mode. Cristian came out same day, making time for me between other calls. I've had issues with my car since March this year. The car kept on going into limp mode and was told by main dealer that it needed a new cat convertor, had that replaced but it was still going into limp mode, than told it was the rail pressure sensor, so changed that, the car immediately went back into limp mode, was then told I would need the fuel injectors replacing....I had enough so did more research and found UKCC Auto Techs. Technician came to my home, ran the cleaning process....I noticed immediately how great my engine sounded, took for a spin, now my car is running beautifully.
Jason knows his stuff and after being informed by a local VW dealer that our Touareg was not worth repairing (it’s 11 years old) as it would be close to £5000 of work required to get the engine operating correctly again Jason worked his magic - he explained everything, was attentive to every aspect and even waited for me to test the vehicle on a 20 minute test drive. The Touareg felt like it had with just a few thousand miles on the clock. 4 months on it shows no signs of any issues with the DPF or other aspects of the engine concerns.

My Citroen Relay alerted me of a blocked DPF and subsequently gone into limp mode leaving me van less. I contacted UKCC Auto tech and arranged a mobile visit from Jason within a day or so. Jason cleared the fault, cleaned the filter and provided a wealth of information to explain the reasons behind the problem. At the time of the visit I took advantage of Jason's suggestion and allowed him to carry out re-mapping. So pleased with the result. The van is on a different level completely now and is an absolute pleasure to drive, no more sluggish overtaking or risky pull-outs onto roundabouts. Excellent!

I had been having issues and even though I am technically savvy my Audi had 160k miles on so thought I would get it fully cleaned including DPF. They did a full diagnostic and although it was not their job, found an underlying issue that could be overcome which meant that I did not need the DPF clean. Very honest and professional! After logging an enquiry on the UKCC website I received a timely call from Matt. We discussed my issue over the phone and he discussed a range of options to resolve the issue. He explained the potential pros and cons very clearly with no pressure applied. The work was carried out successfully without any issues at all. Had an EGR valve needed replacement, a local garage gave me a hugely expensive repair quote. Sorted the problem with Matt for half the cost...and got an engine power increase as a bonus! I sent an email enquiring whether carbon cleaning would be appropriate for my car late in the evening and received a call back at 0900 the following day. After discussion, I booked an appointment for 1100 that morning. Cristian arrived on time and was friendly and professional. He explained the process, and the job was completed in 45 mins. I was concerned that I was going to have a large workshop bill to solve the issue of excessive carbon in my engine, but this 3 stage process has cleared my error code and got the car running smoothly again. Very relieved!
Yasir was very knowledgeable in explaining what was happening with each stage and after the clean was done the car ran smoother acceleration was quicker turbo and exhaust sounded alot better overall really pleased. 10/10

I had great results from the stage 3 Engine Carbon clean. Matt came to my work place, was professional and knowledgable. I have a Audi A6 2.0 TDI, 160,000 miles. The clean took about an hour. I was very impressed on the drive home from work (about 7 miles) my MPG jumped from the usual 34 to 42 MPG. It was running so cool the temperature gauge barely moved. Normally sits about quarter way up the gauge on that run. Will be calling Matt again next year for sure.

Cristian came to my home today to carry out a Carbon clean on my van as I’ve been having an EGR fault present itself on the instrument cluster. An excellent outcome, saved a mint - HC’s were MOT failure level - unheard of. Fault codes now all gone, CATs clean, injectors clean, was quiet anyway, and engine now beyond what I knew possible! Stick to shell v- power, and at least be wary of plant based fuel issues/cheap fuel!

Matt Wallace came to my house on Thursday 28th May to remap my 2017 bmw 118i m sport shadow edition. Through no fault of his or mine, the car wouldn't start and had loads of permanent errors. Matt was here a good few hours trying to rectify the problem but to no avail. It turns out the ECU was destroyed. Matt kept in contact with me through out the week, even messaging me at 23:30 for a progress update. He acquired a new ECU, put it in the car today, 5 June 2021 and now its back to normal, with the new map, and 186BHP. I was sceptical but hes a man of his word and came back to rectify problem.

Matt was very communicative on the phone and explained whist not promising it would fix the cylinder miss fire on my Seat Ibiza 1.8 20v Turbo. He recommended the stage three clean and we booked and made the appointment. Matt called me on the day confirming he was in his way and arrived on time. He explained he had done some research and recommended a cheaper stage 2 clean. With this done I drove home and have run the car a few times over the Christmas break clearing the error codes and am very happy that now with some miles done allowing the process to continue no miss fires or error’s

Tony arrived at the time we agreed on. Very polite and funny. He looked at what we thought was the issue to be told that it’s not what we thought and doesn’t need to be cleaned out just a new sensor. Which he advised me what to get as he doesn’t supply sensors. But was very knowledgable on what was needed.

Ciaran provided an excellent service, not trying to oversell, just gives what the car needs: I ha an engine decoke and also a remap to remove swirl flaps that so often cause issues. The map has not only removed the swirl flap issue but the car is more responsive and feels lively; I really feel the combination of the works has made a big difference. I would definitely recommend
I was very hesitant in the beginning, that is also why I left leaving a review for nearly 2 months. The car had a warning relating to the EGR valve (diagnosed by a garage on my service). I contacted this company after seeing the reviews. The engineer turned up, nice guy, explained everything that he was doing, and why he was doing it (educating me as I was not as familiar). The warning light was still on after the work which was an issue, although he mentioned this just needed resetting. Since then, no warning light and the car is running perfectly. Saved me a lot of money, Thanks!

Before the engine clean my 2009 2.0 jaguar X-Type diesel suffered from heavy greyish smoke under acceleration With an occasional flat spot. Not any more. MPG And throttle response also improved. I highly recommend this company/engineer and the service.

Originally called out for DPF clean and remap, he checked my car and informed me that my DPF was actually absolutely fine and so no need to clean it. This saved me a large amount of money and I was very grateful for his honesty. A job like this somebody could easily continue the works and cash in. Very honest man. He proceeded to check the health of the car etc before remapping the vehicle. This was done very efficiently and only took about 45 mins or so, and it has given my car a very noticeable power increase. Thanks very much for your work. Much appreciated

If you want your car to run as a brand new one carbon cleaning are more than capable to do this. I had DPF problems and the car was not running properly. A lot of smoke and turbo issues. After I had the carbon clean the DPF regen light has not came on any more the car has better mpg less smoke and better drive. Highly recommended. Thumbs up for Cristian!

I called up Winston and asked if I could have a diagnostic check on my vauxhall astra as it felt a bit sluggish, as he checked it using the diagnostic machine there was a faulty camshaft sensor, Winston advised me where to go and what part to get so I got the part and Winston fitted it for me, really nice bloke and a great laugh. I had been having issues with my DPF for a while and was considering getting a new one fitted, sadly this was way out of my budget, so I found Carbon Clean on a Google search. When I called them, they could not have been more helpful and friendly, booking the engineer was easy and Tony arrived at the agreed time. As with my initial contact, he was also very helpful, friendly and professional. Every part of the job was explained to me before he started and when he did, his work was clean and tidy. He gave me advice to prolong the DPF. The car has never ran so well since he fixed it. Brilliant!

Great service came to my house plugged my car in and read fault codes, then did a carbon clean which the guy left on for longer then needed to ensure a good clean. My car has alot more power and has cleared engine management fault on my turbo causing limp mode. Vincent even came back out 2 days later and 're plugged my motor in to read fault codes and all clear and no extra was charged for this visit. Great service all round well recommended.
Matt was brilliant from the get go. I had taken my car to a traditional garage and they didn't have a clue how to deal with the problem. Once the fault was fully diagnosed, Matt was confident my car could be fixed in a few hours and that proved to be the case. I was impressed by the reviews and decided to get my engine cleaned. The process was easy and quick. The results were amazing. It was previously lumpy at low revs, swift but not really fast at 95000 miles. After the clean it has far more torque, is very smooth and goes like it was supposed to! I'm not sure about mpg yet as it's such a lot of fun that the MPG may have suffered! I'm sure that with the better torque it will be more economical. This process appears so simple that until you've had it done you wonder if it really will work. Well it does work really well. Very pleased.

I’ve had this done to my vehicle before and was very pleased with the outcome, it’s been about 2 years since I had it done and since It’s got a bit colder my car has felt a bit sluggish when cold so thought I’d get it done again and immediately felt the difference as soon as I pulled off the drive. Tony carried out the work to a very high standard, his time and professionalism was superb. I was informed prior to the work starting of all the faults on the car and the reasons behind them. I was informed about the faulty sensor I needed to replace and the cost before work was carried out. During the work I was sent regular updates and photos of the process and explained to what was happening. Once finished I was shown all the work carried out and the new readings of pressures and that no fault codes were now flagged up by the car. DPF issue on a Audi A5 (2008) for the past 12 months. Attempts to resolve the issue using other agents had all failed. Was quoted £2000 by Audi for a new DPF filter and labour over the phone. After all the headache in just a few hours Matt from UK Carbon Cleaning was able to diagnose the issue, give advice on what was causing the DPF to not operate efficiently (faulty glow plugs and sensor), source the replacement part (DPF sensor), fit the new sensor and decarbonizes the engine. Had work carried out by Yasir. The guy knows his stuff and talked me through exactly what he will be doing and why he will be doing it. Did his diagnostic, advised the DPF sensor is faulty and needs replacing. Then advised a engine clean which will give better performance in terms of engine smoothness and MPG. Unfortunately it was hard work locating a DPF sensor for my car as it's a rare model of the Toyota Auris T180 D-CAT, local auto shops don't stock them. Managed to find the part from a Toyota Specialist and Yasir installed it. Excellent service all round.

Matt delivered exactly what we spoke about over the phone. He arrived on time, was knowledgeable and informative. I followed Matt's prior advice and got the car warmed up before he arrived. I then left him to it and before I knew it he was done. Having taken the car out in the afternoon I can confirm it was back to its self and the cleaning delivered some punch in the Alfa again.
My wife's Ford S-Smax has done 151,000 miles a lot of which has been towing. It has been getting decidedly more thirsty, rattly and smokey over the last year or so. I have umm'd and arggh'd as to whether the carbon cleaning process was any good or not or just a fad but made one evening made a rash decision and booked it. The process took about an hour and Matt ran a diagnostic on the car before starting the treatment. The effect is dramatic. Easier to start, quieter on tickover, turbo-lag much reduced and significantly less smokey. MPG has been much improved too. Well worth the money!

Just had Matt out to carry out a Carbon Clean stage1 on my Audi A4 2006 2.0TFSI. I thought I could do with a CCstage1 due to the car being 12 years old, the engine was running okay but I could feel in the steering wheel and gear stick leaver slight hesitation, it just didn’t feel right to me (as I’m a technician at Audi) I also had smoke coming from the exhaust. After the CCstage1 I could no longer feel engine vibration, felt very smooth and was running how it should. Carried out a quick road test after which cleared up the smoke from the exhaust. Matt came and spent a long time trying to cure my little cars issues. After the work the engine light stayed off for longer than before and the car is definitely running a lot better for having the pipes and the rest of it cleaned out but alas the light returned, there must be an actual physical fault with my valve. Matt did return to try again with a different chemical but unfortunately the issue wasn't resolved, cannot fault the service though and it was good to meet someone with great knowledge and enthusiasm for the job they do. Would recommend.

Matt sounded like a decent guy but I can't recommend him Due to the messing about I was subjected to.Booked the service, 2 hours prior he called to change times, than again and again and again. The excuse was that I booked very late.. Well, not really my problem as I booked on their website according to the time slots I was given. I had to schedule my workload around this and wasted whole day waiting for him. Overall- not happy! This is obviously a time keeping feedback- no idea what his work is like. He offers another day booking and £10 discount... not sure what else to say.
Such a great job!! The car now drives as if it's new my bmw has 125,000 miles on the clock but since the carbon clean I feel like it's got so much more power and the engines more quiet. Very polite and friendly; job was done quick!!! I recommend it to everybody looking to keep there car healthy.
Had my Honda accord 3 stage cleaned. It is a very high mileage car but since matt did the work on it feels like a new car. Throttle response is amazing now a few mm on throttle makes it start to pull. He even helped me diagnose a mechanical issue with my car which he didn't have to do and turned out I need to get a fuel injector resealed. I've already recommended the service to a work colleague who had never heard of carbon cleaning. The results are amazing and it's money well spent.

Matt was so knowledgeable about the issues I had with my Audi A6, and with the carbon cleaning process. Upon first investigation, lots of back smoke was coming from the exhaust pipes, and the engine was not accelerating smoothly and sounded like a tractor! Within 30 mins the clean was complete, and I just can not believe the difference. Before even driving it, the engine was so much quieter and no black smoke coming from the exhaust. Then the drive....it feels like a new car. More refined, more power - and the hesitation upon acceleration gone. Fantastic job Matt, thank you.

I had an issue with my car , loosing power, check engine light on , traction control light on and many other warning lights. I went to Mazda dealer and informed me that exhaust pipe is completely blocked. and it's gonna cost me 1280 ???? to change it. I called UKCC AUTO TECHS and spoke with their technician named MATT. he did the inspection and he gave me the solution. and it was 60 pounds ???? exhaust pressure sensor. and the car returned to normal situation. All warning lights went off. save me 1280 pound. DON'T TRUST MAZDA DEALER.

I've contacted Matt from UKCC after my car, Audi 2.0tdi ultra has started throwing P2002 fault code. Matt has come to my home address and he talk me through all steps to resolve this issue. He has completed 3 stage carbon clean, did EGR cooler adjustments and remapped the engine for better efficiency and performance. I did feel the noticeable improvement straight away, way better acceleration, less vibration, much smoother and most importantly no more error codes on the dash. He was very professional, explained everything very well and gave me some additional advice regarding how to take a good care of my car going forward. Everything was done as agreed and on time. Had redha sarhani come today to do a stage 3 carbon clean on my m140i, the process was excellent, along with his professionalism. He had phoned before coming also informed me about him running late due to the snow which wasnt a problem for me anyway. He explained what the chemicals did and how my car would react to them and I must say the test drive after he completed it was amazing, I am over the moon with the outcome, car feels brandnew and the fuel consumption is a lot lower. Ive found that I was missing power because upon applying throttle it pulls me into my seat which I have never felt, 10/10 for this guy. This is the second time I have used UKCC and especially Redha, a few years ago with my Lexus, and today with my Mercedes, both with dpf issues, he is so very good at what he does, he will explain everything he is doing in detail, very thorough and gets the job done, I couldn’t recommend him enough.

The car has never felt like this and I have gained about 8/10 mpg on a 3ltr twin turbo so I’m now getting 45ish mpg at normal driving. A nice smooth map too overall 10/10

We went for the forced dpf regen, which was the cheapest and most effective option. Had the pleasure of dealing with Matt and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Had some issues with an EGR valve and he was able to give a solution to this and fixed the issue. Had an issue where the valve needed to be unplugged, but Matt was very patient and attentive in dealing with me and arranged for the car to be taken to a local mechanic to unplug the valve for me. He made sure I felt looked after and 3 months later, the car is working brilliantly and with better fuel economy on the motorway.

27 May 2021. Matt Wallace came and remapped my Bmw M Sport Shadow. Spent hours here, but it didn't work, car wouldn't start and had loads of permanent errors through no fault of Matts, or anyone else's. ECU was on the way out anyway I've now been informed by a Bmw mechanic friend of mine. 5 June 2021. After keeping me informed over the weekend and through the week, even messaging me at 23:30 at one point to give a progress update, Matt Wallace came back with a replacement ECU, as the old one was destroyed for some reason. Connected it, checked it for faults, started the car and I drove it off. 136-184 Bhp. Works like a dream and Matt kept his word and rectified the problem, whatever it was. Ciaran Harvey was brilliant, he came to check out my car and explained the process thoroughly, I checked a few other options in the area but they seemed the most comprehensive. The service was good they came to me , Custom map and clean in around an hour and half . Car took the map well . Was told by another company that it would be necessary to remove the ECU and program it on the bench . This guy has all the latest software and was able to do everything through the OBD port . This professional service made a massive difference to the performance of my vehicle. I have a 2.0 tdci Ford from 2008, and went for the 3 way EGR and turbo, Injectors and Hydrogen clean. After the car was treated I was doing wheel spins all over the place in all gears. It took me the best part of a day to readjust how much less throttle I needed to apply. Mpg up from 32 in city to 36 in city. The engine is smoother as well. The best part is it seems to have fixed the issue I had with raw desiel clouds be ejected from my exhaust.

Carbon Cleaning is your best option
To a certain degree, Spark Plugs are designed to be self-cleaning. However, when they become dirty they will foul causing misfires, loss of power, fuel economy, and increased emissions. Different engine models require a certain specification of spark plug. As the engine runs the ceramic shell of the plugs must get hot enough that the electrode burns off any carbon deposits, oils and fuel, yet not so hot that there is a risk of detonation / pre-ignition.
Long journeys and highway speeds increase engine temperature which is a good environment for spark plug self-cleaning. However, short journeys and today’s ever-worsening stop-start traffic are not a good thing, temperatures don’t get high enough to aid the self-cleaning so deposits start to build on the electrodes. Eventually, this leads to failure of spark and misfires. The electricity sent to the plug from the ignition coil is short-circuited, the unspent fuel/air mixture is both recirculated (through the Exhaust Gas Recirculation system) which aids and abets carbon deposit build up in other parts of the engine and the rest exits through the exhaust in the form of excessive emissions and pollution.
There are numerous ways to clean or replace the Fuel Injectors with varying prices.
The costliest option is a complete set of replacement parts. Most mechanics will recommend this – Why? Because they’ll earn a profit from the part and it’s a quicker job for them. The price of replacing Spark Plugs varies considerably and will obviously depend on how many the engine has.
The moderately expensive alternative is to remove the plugs and manually clean them with a wire brush, this requires some mechanical skill and time. The problem is not all spark plugs are accessible, especially for the novice mechanic. As there are no replacement parts involved the cost of this is just the labour.

If your vehicle is suffering from faulty spark plugs the best solution is to replace them and then have a carbon clean service to clear out the excessive carbon produced by the faulty spark plugs not firing correctly and causing incomplete combustion.
